The Run Tough Philosophy

Life is about putting one foot in front of the other and ending up someplace different. Sure, most races might start and end in the same physical place, but if you take on the challenge of training and self-improvement, you will discover entirely new mental states and mindsets.

Run Tough Coaching is focused on developing human potential by overcoming physical and mental challenges. Training is hard and so is life. Training tougher and harder can make your life easier.

About Me

My name is Kilian Korth and I am an ultra-runner based in Grand Junction, CO. I am a United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy (UESCA) certified coach and a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. I have been running ultra-marathons since 2018 and running has helped transform me into a capable athlete and human being. Self-coached my entire career, I am familiar with many mistakes one can make when starting to run, or ramping up in any kind of training volume. I want to help you avoid some of the common pitfalls. I take a science-based approach to creating fully customized training plans for each individual athlete. I do not use templates and will tailor every athlete's program specifically for that individual.
